We’re used to seeing videos of Floyd Mayweather Jr dazzling with his elaborate pad routines or Tyson Fury training in his underwear, but Artur Beterbiev may have just topped the lot.
Beterbiev’s promotional company, Top Rank, posted a series of clips to their Twitter of the Russian-born light heavyweight world champion practicing a number of strange training methods.
From unusual press-ups to shadow boxing with a skipping rope, it is definitely worth a watch.
Top Rank posted the video with the caption, “Artur Beterbiev’s training methods are wild.”
While it may be bizarre, it clearly works as Beterbiev has a perfect professional record so far, with 17 fights, 17 wins and 17 knockouts.
The Canadian resident currently holds the WBC and IBF unified light heavyweight world titles.
He is preparing for another unification bout with Joe Smith Jr, who holds the WBO title, on June 18th.
